They're a main obsession of mine.

Like in Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children?
I loved that book.

I haven't read that. There's a wendigo in it?!

Ahem, sorry, that always catches my attention. Did I mention I'm obsessed? I find them completely fascinating.

Yeah it is a long time to deal with such a warped mood. At least mine comes and goes even if it does feel very low this time. I don't always feel strong enough to support others but sometimes I do.

I know all the support and advice I've gotten on WP has helped me a ton recently - it probably literally saved my life at least once, a few months ago. Big dragon hugs for everyone in need of one

I looked it up, and it looks very interesting. I think I've seen it at the library my mom works at, I'll have to get it sometime soon.

I've heard of that book, and I've read some of it. I got about halfway through it.

Was it a difficult read? Like boring for you or something else?
I found 'tooth and claw' too much for me, not my cup of tea.

I borrowed it from the library I used to work at.
For about 2 years.
I had it checked out so long the librarian ended up buying another copy for the library.

One of the perks of working in a library.
I shall get it anyway when our library is open.
They only do part-time hours because of funding.
My meatballs are finally ready - marvellous.

My creative energy is low due to constant discouragement by others around me. I used to either want to be a musician or artist or writer but I was never encouraged to develop my own passions. :(

Don't want to hijack someone else's thread elsewhere, so I'll just leave this here.

Couldn't tell you. I fix things compulsively without being asked & usually deign to take any credit. I'm just more comfortable having fixed something.

Still learning how to do such things socially but that's life. I may be vastly more nuts than I let on but I tend to singe my rough edges off with spices, caffeine, herbs and math. Friends say I'm way more seemingly normal than I feel & the madness I see on global news would seem to logically follow.
