I'm about to bring a pair of gloves to a guy who dances on the street with a sign for advertisement. It's that cold here.

Wait, you said 48 F - Cold? That's the November average - it's merely just a bit nippy!

For Florida that would be cold.

Anyone know why no webpages load or any animations (such as emoticons) play unless I either move my mouse or type on the keyboard?

Tried restarting the PC? That still seems to be a fix for many problems with Windows.

Hmm, I could, but I may as well wait til bed time as it's coming soon, and I've got loads of stuff running (though that is normal and doesn't cause this problem, it's a new one for me!)

Sooner or later, Windows always starts doing stupid things it never did before. There's innovation for you.
The shutdown/restart is relatively useful because it's a quick way of nailing something down to either "Tsk - bloody Windows, playing up again" or something potentially more serious.
As it's basically functional - yeah, leave it until you've finished working.

Pretty much - it's certainly intriguing that I have to keep moving my mouse so that a webpage loads :?

It's a joke dialog; not a genuine one coughed up through using Windows. Surprisingly...

Ah, it's time for bed - I'm still not too well, will hopefully be fine come Monday.
Goodnight!
