I went out to get some milk.
Milk and cookies would be nice.

I hope I feel better tomorrow.

There's likely going to be snow everywhere, though.

I hope you feel better tomorrow.
I hope I feel better tomorrow and everyone else who is not perky.
You are having snow - I know my dog would like that.
Not so much me though.

The wind's howling and shaking the trees.

It's a bit spooky.

How do these sound for little character bios?

Isolael [Ee-soh-layl]
A cosmos travelling reality warper best known for appearing at random intervals and then disappearing, never to be seen again [she has a cameo in every one of my books]. She is known as the 'Echo Summoner' throughout the Songsphere, because of her ability to make her thoughts or wishes to life [often literally]. Her appearance changes slightly, but she always wears a long indigo cloak, has her hair in a long white braid, has golden eyes, carries a Taraka card deck [they are kind of like Tarot cards] in her pocket, and wears two special pendants around her neck [a small winged cat made of crystal, and a circle enclosing an infinity symbol].

Chona [Choh-nah]
A young crystal harmonizer and the heir to an ancient magical tradition based on different types of crystals and how they interact. In her backstory, she lost her beloved to a magical explosion, and she herself slowly started to turn to crystal. She first met Isolael when the latter saved her life, and later became better acquainted when both of them attended Archmage Cael's school. She is quite tall and lanky, with long dark hair and light brown eyes. She usually dresses in a practical, long-sleeved shirt and an overcoat, and occasionally a calf-length kilt.

They both sound marvellous.

Isolael's eyes sound enchanting.

How did Isolael save chona's life - was it because she was turning crystal?

Isolael's eyes were partially inspired by Ashura from the RG Veda manga:

Yes--Isolael stopped the crystal from spreading. Once they meet up at the magic school, and have several adventures there, Chona becomes Isolael's main travelling companion.

I would love to be able to read some of your stories one day.
There are not enough fantasy books in my local library.

Well, you can read any of the four I have written, if you want. I can pm you the link.

Which one sounds most interesting [they can be read in any order, technically]?
Tales from Mythaven [short stories and poems]
White Darkness
Hollowed
Edge of Eternity

The books I'm going to be working on next year are only titles so far:
Fairy Tails
Go Gently
<currently untitled story>
Astral Point

I think I would go for White Darkness first.
But if I read Tales from Mythaven, I could read a short story first.

I am a slow reader so any book lasts me a long time.

I don't know when I'll publish them. I've found a cheap publishing site, but I just haven't got around to doing anything with it.

Well I would love to see you published.
Perhaps you might inspire me to write a little story one day.
I am a very reluctant writer - my tutor used to pull his hair out.
But that was more academic and painful for me.

I am getting used to pronouncing the names first.

I had a terrible time at high school; it felt like I was trapped in a cage and near suffocating for most of it. Thank goodness for the few fantastic teachers I met that made me not run around screaming [though I came close many times].

During three and a half months at university residence, I nearly tipped off the despair event horizon.

I'm determined to never experience that again, and to keep moving onwards.
