I did, except for university, where I nearly failed.

But you didn't fail!

My nephew failed out of the University of Central Florida.

But he went back to community college. Then went to the University of Northern Florida, where he got a bachelor's in computer science.

School was awful for me too.
When I went back to college in my forties I found out I had problems with my written work.
This was what helped me to get diagnosed - I also have Irlens syndrome.

I think my current depression is the result of me forcing myself to do something against my grain for 5 years.

Luckily it is all over for me too and I can work with my abilities rather than straining my brain.

I am free - yay!

Not sure where this comes from?
I like art, I like to upcycle things.
I haven't done any art for years.

For a person who has problems writing, you write pretty well.

I don't have problems with writing---but you write at least as well as I do.

And I consider myself a pretty good writer (especially when I'm motivated).

I'm inclined to believe that it's more a "motivation" sort of thing.

You don't like to be forced to write.

Yes quite possibly.

On a different note, have just remembered a song which touched me.

It is called Mirror in the Mirror by Arvo Part.

It is a lovely melody.

I like some of their songs.

I am going to bid you all good night now.
This is another attempt to change my sleep pattern but in a different way.
Na night all.

Do you wear the special lenses?
If so, which colour are yours?
Mine are an amber colour.

I think I'm secretly a night owl. I get so much more accomplished and I have more fun at 1 AM than any other time of the day.

My reading glasses are purple lenses.

I just buy cheap sunglasses, one is rosey red coloured - I did have a purple but lost them.

I do have amber but don't seem to get on with these so well.

These bright bluish white christmas lights people have up and down the street are awful - like lasers drilling in my head. I prefer a more dim yellowish white light. Candles are ok as long as they don't flicker too much.

I am like a vampire who stays in the dark with the curtains closed during the day.

Are you.....a Wolf Lady??????

Seriously....I hope I don't irritate you in some way. I know I can be a royal pain in the tushey at times.

I don't know....I get thoughts and I express those thoughts. Remember: I'm autistic---no filter!

My mother gets on my case about that. She often says that I don't convey the context of things well.

The one thing that I'm not....is one of those "brilliant Aspies." I'm not even an Aspie, period.

A dragon that needs to be given TLC sometimes.

You probably don't get enough of that. That's what I sense.

You have a raging fire just waiting to be expelled like a volcano.

I give the Wise Dragon Lady a chaste hug. If you coo or purr, I won't assume more-than-friendly intentions.
