Hey I remember you in the clean chatroom - I'm not terribly sure that I understand

Yes, hello again! I'm not sure I can explain. It just seems that there is so much info and a lot of pages on most sites about AS and I am overwhelmed. I like things to be simple and not so jumbled up.

It's a complicated subject; there are many aspects to AS and it's often a matter of just finding your way around a site and discovering what's immediately relevant and what isn't.
When you first look, everything is equal in importance and it's just a jumble, but you soon spot those areas that are really significant to what you need.

WP is pretty quiet for bright colours and visual noise, and quite deliberately so.
But yeah, some sites out there are like angry fruit salads and it's just uncomfortable to even look at them.

And - hi Taupey :sunny:

it is difficult to prepare a word salad... (i did a recorded version of this)

Chip 171 yn (who has a virus) says: With all contradictory stapling follicular ideologies there whence detailed in a conglomerative dandelion street campers flunk great rocky quills burning pringle magnet questionnaires on fretting smallpox canteen doors under a rewinding hackers vat filled out of lard clapper handle drum stalls darkening wands without reddish spatulas in chaotic franking toll jobs...

here is the recording. there is nothing special about any of this post. i just lodged a very random set of words (as the topic title suggests).

I like your complex random word salad B9 and I can't begin to understand how you created and programmed it. :? So I believe you when you say that it is difficult to prepare. Thank you for sharing it. :)

To be honest, when I first noticed you had posted a recording here, I thought ah cool, he's going to let us hear him talk again. And I got really excited about it before I actually read what you wrote and realize what type of recording it was because I love to hear the beautiful sound of your voice with that wonderful Australian accent of yours. :)

Yeah, this one isn't too bad, but there's still a lot of info. I guess my goal is to decide to read only some of it and not try to keep up with all of it.

Some of the worst websites just drive me nuts, like the government job website that thinks it's ok to change colors, sizes, and styles of font in every paragraph of a job description. And if you know anything about government job descriptions, they can be very lengthy. I know I can't ask everyone to write up their websites like it's a highly structured research paper, but you could at least use the same font throughout! I don't like going from 10 point Times New Roman in red to 14 point Arial in blue. It's ridiculous!

Absolutely - there's far too much of it for that and you'll doubtless find some consistently interesting areas. Even in those areas, I rarely look back more than two pages of posts because things tend to come and go pretty quickly - but the really interesting and active stuff tends to stay near the top of the lists.

 Hate it.

And a jolt to the eyeballs too. Some people just love to play about with fonts - even on professional sites. I normally end up muttering dark things about "less is more" and wishing someone would get a clue about that.

Good morning, Taupey! :)

I came home from work an hour and a half ago and had a little cat nap. I'm feeling fine. :)

i am not easy to talk to.

if you want to hear some more of my voice then i can show you how difficult i can be.

this is a "friend" of mine (a person who talks to me because he thinks i am smart) talking to me on the phone about some girl he was agonizing over.

i was not interested, and i had to eat.

i am not easy to talk to.
