In Arizona we sometimes said, "Sir" or "Mrs/Miss" when answering the roll call in English. It seemed like it was used as "Yes Sir" or "Yes Mrs/Miss". It was just different like that. In Indiana we would say, "Present" or "Here" when answering the roll class. Anyway, I'm here.
