^That's a good idea about Avatar. I also like to escape into a good movie. Books and TV shows are good for that too. And sometimes it's good to read or watch something from my childhood. For nostalgia and because the emotions are simpler sometimes.Characters in children's and YA fiction seem to have more fun and more discovery too, so it's a different state of mind. Can anyone relate to that?

^I agree.

Our Christmas movie lineup so far includes Christmas Vacation, Arthur Christmas, Trapped in Paradise, and Muppet's Christmas Carol.
I've never seen It's a Wonderful Life.

I remember the old series back in the 70s/80s so the new films are so different and show the origins.

Have you never seen a planet of the apes films Kazan?

Yes,yes I have as well as the original planet of the apes series from the 70's

Boo has a box all to herself now, as well as two or three chairs, a basket, and my bed. I've got some cute pictures of her that I'm planning to upload tomorrow.

I really enjoy A Christmas Carroll and Christmas Vacation. :-) It’s A Wonderful Life is a really good movie, I highly recommend it. I wish we could all have angels coming into our lives and showing us our impact on the world.

Maybe we do, and no one's noticing it.

While everyone else is all abuzz about the new Star Wars, I'm just over here in my corner waiting impatiently for Hellraiser: Judgment. Somehow I don't think it's going to make even the vague "2017" release date it was given.

Sleepy Hollow is on TV and I am tempted to watch it again but I have to get up early for an appointment.
I guess I know what happens so I will have to go up and read instead.

Night night all.
Sleep well everybody.

I'm just waiting for the first trailer to the live action/CGI hybrid Sonic the Hedgehog movie so I can see what it's about and whether or not it makes me uncomfortable.

I have seen all the almost all the Hellraiser films, except the one Hellraiser:Revelations as, I found that to be a disgrace.

Yeah, I generally pretend Hellworld and Revelations don't exist.
