It isn't all that difficult for me but I don't do it too often.

Same question.

It's not hard, but I have to take my time or "Ouch!"

Favorite movie

American Graffiti (1973). This led to a life-long love of doo-wopp/early rock-n-roll music.

If I take a shower in hot water, I can shave without shaving cream.

At what age did you say your first word?

My mom doesn't remember exactly how old I was, but it was before I was a year old and before I could walk. The word was "pretty." LOL I'm realizing today that I'm actually quite feminine.

Did you have any pets as a kid?

I had a parakeet named Oscar. I won him during an Easter Party when I was six. He lived six years.

I had a cat named Zum Zum starting when I was 14. She was my best friend at age 15---until I met this kid at the Y.

Have you ever thought a non-human animal was your best friend?

Yes. My Australian Shepherd named Bandit. In my third grade journal, I wrote that he was my best friend.

Are you into watching sports?

Sometimes. But I prefer watching the scores to actually watching the game.

Very much so.

My mother said "All I had to do was sit you in front of the TV with a baseball game on, and your sadness would disappear."

My first memory of watching sports was watching the San Francisco Giants playing the Mets (I believe). I remember the pitcher was Juan Marichal, This was in 1967, when I was six.

One of my favorites, though, unusually, was the Professional Bowlers Tour. I sucked at bowling, though LOL

I watch figure skating.

Did you have an imaginary friend?

Never had an imaginary friend.

As for figure-skating. I had an ambivalent relationship with it as a kid. I thought it was "sissy stuff," yet I loved the elegance of it. I liked Dorothy Hamill. After the 1976 Olympics, many girls tried to imitate Hamill's hairstyle.

Nowadays, I respect, very much, what figure-skaters have to go through when they're training for their sport.

I did. She lived in the mirror and we talked often.

Did you climb trees?

Yes, I loved climbing trees. Pine trees are easier to climb, though.

I was a cowardly kid in that sense; I didn't even climb on the monkey bars (jungle gym).

When you were a kid, did you want to play sedentary roles in games like "Batman and Robin?" I used to want to be the Commissioner, so I didn't have to run.

I spent a significant portion of my childhood up a tree. I still like to climb trees but haven't done it in awhile.

I think I always wanted a starring role in something like "Batman and Robin" or I didn't want to play. Lol

What's the most trouble you got into as a kid?

I got in big trouble when I ran up a $600 phone by calling the weather forecast for many cities in the US and Canada. This was in 1971, when Long Distance was quite expensive.

My father slapped me across the face. They were able not to actually pay the money, though.
