a little bit. all the evacuations are lifted and the containment is around 80% but the weather is much more favorable now (for firefighting). it even snowed a bit, in the inland county.

no more smoke, no more ash :jester:

my uncle about 11 miles west of me woke up to find ice on his car, last night.

It comes from a series of books written by Naomi Novik called the Temeraire series. Temeraire is a dragon and the main character throughout. It is based around the Nepoleonic Wars and with plenty of Dragon action.

Very much worth a look at I would say. Well I would say that because it is my favourite series of books ever.

Weird, how sometimes you can watch films from the past and still feel the same enthusiasm as when they were originally viewed.
