It is supposed to be good for you well-being by putting positive ions into the atmosphere and counteracts negative ions which can make us sick.
It is also supposed to be good for the mood as well as health.

I really love the amber glow and find it relaxing because I like lamps such as this so I feel good just having it there.

My friend is into crystals and spiritualism so thought it would help me heal from depression etc. How lovely eh?

They have a salt cave here.
It's supposed to be good for asthma, lung conditions, etc.
I get enough salt in the ocean, probably.
I know I always feel calmer afterwards.

They've found less depression in people who live near the sea.

Yes this is something I read too, about living near the sea and it's health benefits.

I was reading about the benefits of having a growth mindset today and thought of you with all the hard work you have put into your health and well-being. I thought you were a good example of what can be achieved when someone has a growth mindset as opposed to a fixed mindset.

My eyes skimmed across that quickly and I thought it said,

Feeling like a lucky girl to have been given a salt lump

Seemed very Dickensian. A salt lump and a bucket of coal for Christmas.

Yes we Brits love a lump of coal and salt. Especially a cockney.

That's why they call you the Fighting Temeraires.

I didn't know this - where does it come from?

I know the dragon in a series of books I read was named after the ship Temeraire which Turner painted.
Never heard of the cockney link though.

I was just playing on your name. That's the title of the painting as you know.

I have a lovely book called Fighting Ships 1750-1850 by Sam Willis.
It is bigger than my laptop and has some beautiful illustrations.
The Temeraire is in this too. Marvellous.

Oh dear, looks like depression to me.
Perhaps you could take it for an extra run or two.
