I haven't watched any Dr Who since season 9.

I haven't, either, except for the new Christmas special. Needless to say, I encountered spoilers, but I don't mind. :P

I kind of lost interest, tbh.
Never thought that would happen.
The writing seemed to go downhill.

I am torn between committing suicide on either the final day of the year or until my 30th birthday.

The resemblance is re-marker-ble.

My 20's are almost over and they were supposed to be the best years of my life but they were my worst.

i had a good year in my mid-twenties, but by far the best time has been the past (from 52 to 61) few years. i'd be cautious about expecting any period to be a certain way. my late twenties were horrendous (was engaged to a guy who hit me.) at 52, i married the sweetest guy. he was worth waiting for. what made these years so bad for you? what made other years better?

I feel much better in my 30's than I did in my 20's.

I read Dr Tony Attwood’s compilation with all autistic contributors, ‘Been there, done that? try this!’
In it one person’s words stuck with me which I want to share with you-
They said autistics follow a different roadmap from what is considered normal.
They said they dropped out and finally complete their college degree at age 44 because that was their best time- not 20s as society says.
They said not to be afraid of challenging the age appropriate guidelines set by society.

I keep telling myself those words. I’m not a ‘loser’ as my brain tells me I am—
as society’s standard measuring stick doesn’t apply to me.

My life has been nothing like what society dictated.
I chose how my life would pan out as much as I could.
But then things happen which I had no control over - I got over this.
How? I chose to live.
Why? I saw that there was plenty of other things to live for.
What? Just knowing how small I am compared to the bigger picture.

I am depressed too. I know it won't last forever. I know I will come out of the other end if I keep trying.

The last thing I need at present is a boyfriend - I don't have the energy as I am fighting depression and health issues.

Marknis, you are an intelligent guy, you know where this is coming from inside of you. Get the depression under control and you will see the world in a different light. Work on your mental health. You can do it.

As a Zen master once said, "This too, shall pass."

That's one of the best nuggets of wisdom, in my opinion.
