Good afternoon all.

Feeling horrible today.
Had a severe attack of vertigo last night.
Seems to have subsided to dizziness.
Felt so sick with it too.
I wonder where it came from?
It was quite scary as I thought I was stuck like that for a while.

I think I will go back to bed as lots of sleep seems to be helping.
Perhaps my body needs to repair something.

Hi Cathylynn,

It is improving today and I have been resting a lot.
Not eaten anything since yesterday, I think I will try some soup.
I am hoping it is not related to a recent heart issue.

light-headedness might be heart-related, but vertigo, probably not. not moving your head quickly can help prevent symptoms until you mend.

Thank you for your help Cathylynn.
I can deal with pain, fatigue and all sorts of other health problems but this is one of the worst I have had yet.
It is up there along with food poisoning and other nasty illnesses.
Just when I thought things probably couldn't get any worse.
Oh well onward and upward - the dog won't walk herself.

You could always take a third option and go in a zig-zag. That's what I generally do.

Boo's having a nap on top of a bunch of book bins on a shelf downstairs.

The protagonist of my sixth book, previously faced with two choices, has chosen a third option. I realized that she wasn't entirely the kind of person to either wait out the night nor keep going on the faint hope of finding a healer. She is the kind of person to go on a metaphysical journey to bring her companion back. A journey to the centre of the soul, as it were.

Day 5 of my merry-go-round and I can now see some improvement since day 1.

I have to venture further today - not my ideal day.

At least the wind has died down.
