i learned a cool new [to me] anglo saxon phrase, "Wyrd bið ful aræd" [pronounced "weeud bith full adead" with tongue-flap r], which means "fate is wholly inexorable." is is from the olde englishe poem "The Wanderer."

I've been up 24 hours. Had a late, long nap yesterday, would have gone to bed again in the morning, decided instead to stay up and see if I can go to bed at a normal time. At 10:20pm it will be 24 hours and I'm hoping I sleep six hours, which will be a very long nap for me.

I was in bed for eight hours. I'd like to say I slept for most of it, but I probably got six hours, and woke up several times. Still, for me, a good night's sleep.

I did not had a meltdown just because my class was conducted online today.

Someone stood before me with a pair of scissors. Which usually means someone wants their hair cut, the haircut finished off, the scissors sharpened, they've been cutting things or they aren't really a fan but have nothing better on hand (that's my humor). It was #2. She did a good job for a chunky and looking messy on purpose deal. I straightened it out but still kept the same messy on purpose look, and I shortened the bottom layer. Her first job was such, so...Dill has another hat passed onto him that he can wear when needed.

Cut the hedges outside again because rain does rain things, which is kinda the same thing as the above in the end. About 50 meters long, 8' tall by 4' wide. Brought them down to 5' tall. Mock Orange.

Long, long day working. About 12 hours, six hours driving all told, and probably $60 worth of gas. Team meeting. Dentist. Three client visits, one in Spanish which requires extra brain duty. Where are my gold stars? :D
