Hello everyone

I had a yummy bolognese made from quorn today.
Seems odd eating fungus instead of minced beef.
It was good enough though.
A vegetarian day.

I once got in a fight with someone about "mince meat" versus "hamburger meat" LOL

Also: somebody once tried, without success, to tell me that "zed" is the ONLY last letter of the Alphabet. "zee" did not ring a bell with him.

it's mince here.
No one calls it mincemeat.
There's no such thing as hamburger mince, only ready made hamburger patties, or you make them yourself.

I learnt zed in school too.
I take it that person was from a Commonwealth country?

I had eggplant, sweet potato and mushrooms with a poached egg on top and hemp oil dressing for breakfast.

Portobello mushrooms can taste very much like steak if cooked right.

Yes I have eaten big mushrooms that reminded me of steak. They were marinated in something and a great texture and were very tasty.
