Why thank you very much Ms CloudClimber.
I will try that after my dog walk.
If I have any trouble I will ask for that kind offer of a picture tutorial.
I am very visually orientated - this is how I learn best.

No not a wrist band. I read about these being inaccurate.
I did my research and made sure it was considered reliable and accurate.
The cuff fits perfect too - they come in different sizes. I know mine.
This is recommend by the british heart foundation and I looked up clinical research findings which rated it well.
It is a Kinetik advanced model. Used by st johns ambulance too.

I had my bp taken by the doc on tues and it was similar to the monitor today.

But thanks for the advice - if I had bought a wrist one I would probably be worrying now.

If you had a wrist one you would be on your way to casualty as it kept giving me a Systolic of 220+

If you had a wrist one you would be on your way to casualty as it kept giving me a Systolic of 220+


Oh that is bloody worrying.
My bp was actually 200/105 in the summer when I went to casualty with breathing problems.
I found out I have a thickened heart muscle from an echo I had.
The doc has put me on meds to help keep it lower.
I naturally improved but it is now 127/76 - I will take this any day.

Do you have high blood pressure now or a health condition which makes it higher?

I think my BP is average for someone my age and my lifestyle ( sedentary ). Medication is the thing that effects my BP , some of the antidepressants were killing me , I had to stop taking them.

Does anyone here know about PS Vitas? I think I messed something up. I got my Vita for Christmas, and got a game for it, but I didn't get a bigger memory card until later. Is it too late to get the memory card to activate or have I just wasted my money and locked myself out of getting any more games, ever?

I've had a psp but not a vita before... but what to you mean by getting locked out? I don't see how getting a bigger memory card has anything to do with that. That situation sounds more related to smart phones and not video games. It should be just for extra storage and not altering your account.

I know, but it doesn't seem to matter that I have the new memory card in. When I try to download a new game, it keeps saying that there's no space, and ignores the fact that there's a card in. What I mean by locked out is that since i didn't have the new card at the beginning, the system won't accept it.
