What's the last weirdest dream you had?

i was in a salmon-colored room with wooden chairs, a man dressed in saffron scrubs sat on a chair next to me, he was built lean like a marathon runner, and we got into a discussion about fitness and he told me he was of some eastern religion like Hinduism, an offshoot of it, and he was thin because they were only allowed to eat raw greens, no cooking ever, no fruits, some nuts and seeds. i told him my diet was not too different but that per his physical condition he was doing better than me, he smiled at me, then i awoke.

I was staying with some people and I'd been told to help myself to anything I found, so I had. I'd eaten a package of biscuits or something. The woman started taking out food for people, including some of those biscuits, so I told her I'd eaten one and asked if that was alright or if she wanted me to replace them. She said it was very important that I replace them. I was annoyed but didn't show it. I asked where she got them, and she named a town nowhere close. I didn't complain.

With the magic that is dream discontinuity, I found myself in a shop. There was a counter with a low part and a high part, and I waited to be helped, as someone else approached and was helped, and then someone else approached and was helped. I threw my bag of hotdog buns down on the counter in frustration, and it slid onto the floor.

Someone asked what I needed. It was just the bust of a person, like a pink marble mantle statue. She was wearing nothing on her partial body except a Band-Aid, also pink, on her breast. I told her what I wanted and then went to retrieve the hotdog buns from the floor.

Someone was standing on them. I tugged at the package and he moved, and I picked up my squished hotdog buns and showed them to him. They were so flattened that when I turned them sideways they disappeared. He didn't seem to notice, so I said, "thanks for standing on my buns," and he apologized, and reached into his pocket for money to replace them. I told them it was okay, I only had them because I'd eaten someone's biscuits.

i dreamt me and my sweetie were at a mall up north, when all of a sudden she took leave of me, and after searching for her for hours, came upon a wise woman who told me sweetie got tired of my silly smile. then as i was leaving the place in a state of dejection, i walked past a chapel where i overheard one of the pastors commenting about just completing a unilateral annulment. then i dreamt of being in another large shopping mall, and i was with one WP member sitting in a breezeway between stores looking into the plaza which featured a large adult entertainment venue, nekkid folks were cavorting about a large stage, then some swarthy fella with compact acrobatic frame and form-fitting knit clothing stepped out and asked for volunteers, and a bunch of men swarmed him along with one female WP member [dressed as a catholic schoolgirl with white socks] who saw me sitting down and repeatedly beckoned me to come join her, first i told her "HELL NO I CAN'T GO UP THERE!" but she persisted and eventually got me to go in there with her, we milled around for a bit while the event organizer was planning what to do, then i awoke.

I dreamt that I'd fallen asleep at my desk, but woken up, and that I knew I'd fallen asleep because the color of the light around me had changed, but I was confused because I'd woken up not where I expected to be, and then I actually woke up, lying down on the couch.

Deep, deep thinking in that dream, lol.

I went to a big indoor stadium to see Red Hot Chili Peppers with my kids. We couldn't get three seats together so they were going to sit together and I was seated alone a couple of rows ahead of them, but in the same section. I had seat #9 which was right the end of my row by the railing for the stairs. When I got to my seat I discovered Lorna was there. She's a girl I knew very well and tried to adopt in real life. In the dream she was about 15 but we didn't know each other. I told her it was my seat and showed her my ticket on my phone. I suggested she could sit there until the show started and I'd just sit on the cement stairs beside. She was talking on her phone and kept ignoring me. Finally it was close to show time so I shouted out loud to see if there were any security guard / site staff around, to evict her from the spot.

A really nice man appeared and I explained the whole story. He was memerised by me (lol) and the fact I wanted to adopt her despite her taking my seat. I hadn't told him I wanted to adopt her because I didn't remember that in the dream, but when he said it I felt a weird flashback from real life and felt guilty for trying to make her move. Somehow she was gone by then. She was down by the stage laughing with her friends.

Then I realised there were three seats open at #9 so I tried to tell my kids to come sit there with me, since they were better seats. They didn't move because my son said it would be fraud. He's a rule follower and insisted on staying with his assigned spot.


This was the most real dream I've had in months since starting my new meds (and being stoned on painkillers.)

This morning, I dreamed that I stopped at a hamburger place in another town for lunch while I was on the road. There was an enormous crowd ahead of me and it didn't seem to be moving. Finally, I pushed through the crowd up to the front and found out that they weren't waiting for tables. I had no idea what they were doing.

I managed to order a hamburger and fries, pay for it, and sit down at a table to wait for the order. The order never came. After a very long wait, I was told that I was going to have to leave because the place was reserved for a funeral dinner at 2 pm, thus the enormous crowd standing around. They didn't even offer a refund on what I had already paid.

I refused to go and demanded my food. They called the police who told them that I was causing no trouble and had paid for my meal and they had to feed me. Eventually, they brought my hamburger and fries which I ate while the funeral dinner was going on.

A recurring theme in most of my dreams involves me visiting familiar places and finding no people around.

Like finding myself in my childhood home, and everything looks as if someone is living there, but there is no one at home.

Or being the only person in a shopping mall with all the stores open, lighted, and stocked, but no customers, salespeople, mall cops, or anyone else.

Time's Square on New Year's Eve?  Same.  The ball drops at midnight and I am the only one there to say "Happy New Year".

Weird, huh?

^^^sounds like there is some kind of horseblinder effect going on, in terms of filtering out the bulk of people that are tertiary to your priorities.

i dreamt that i was somewhere in nature, don't know if it was heaven or earth- i was greeted by two women wearing flesh-colored clothing, and there were blank spots in place of their faces, and with their thoughts they said direct to my brain, "hello [my name], Addie and Sylvia."

i dreamt i was in a chicago suburb, at a "soft rock" hostel that billed itself as "the hard rock cafe" for some reason. part of it was my late parents' house. i was fixing to go into one of the bedrooms to sleep but it turned out to be my late dad's bedroom and i think he was sleeping in it, so i stepped outside onto the sidewalk and stepped into a round concrete-appearing tower that somehow propelled itself down the road to another larger version of itself that was a stationary building that had elevator doors atop the front steps. i stepped into the elevator and with a spine-compressing jump zoomed with a whoosh up to the top story, perhaps the 10th floor, got off at a skyscraper that was a few hundred feet off the ground, and promptly stepped through another set of outside elevator doors which zoomed me about a hundred stories further up, and on the other side of the elevator doors then was some kind of take-off platform for a flying saucer-type of craft that was styled like the earlier concrete tower craft that carted me earlier. i was on the top "flying ring" of this craft which tipped about somewhat queasily, it took all my spoons not to burp my cookies and lose my cool, but we were flying over a dark city under an opaque dome, i could see distant buildings and streets below, and off in the distance the opposite internal walls of this whatever it was building, i could see the outsides of apartments where people lived, some windows were lit and you could see people inside. we careened a bit carelessly and struck the side of one of the apartments a glancing blow, then arrived at the opposite landing platform where we disembarked, i went inside of some kind of club's business office that had a bank vault with door open so i could see the moneybags stored inside. then next thing i knew i was in somebody's kitchen talking to one of the people accompanying me on my trip as well as his brother.

i dreamt my spouse and me, back when we were young, had separated due to some existential exigency that affected me and put me out of the picture for a few decades, and in that interval she'd gotten married and then divorced, and i was in an audio store [selling stereo equipment] when she walked in and we saw each other and compared notes.

had ex-gf that i wanted to be a spouse but she had other ideas.

Had a dream that I had a spouse too. But when i grow up am gonna have a spouse ....hopefully not a grouse.
And might be nice if they were a audiophile too, cause I like all kinds of music too
