It's one of those strange sayings! I suppose church is usually quiet and mice are aswell so together it emphasises the quietness. :chin:

There sure are a lot of strange sayings.

Personal opinion: I feel that this thread has got too many status updates and not enough randomness. Seems more like a chat thread and not very random at all anymore. I just don't feel that it is keeping with the original intent of this thread.
Not meaning to offend, just expressing my opinion.

I will still continue to use this thread to voice thoughts that have no connection to a more appropriate thread as I always have. The beauty of this thread is that it can be whatever it wants to be. :)

Now on with a thought: I discovered something about the Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series last night that I never, ever knew. Blew my freaking mind because Yu-Gi-Oh! was my special interest for several years in my late teens/early 20's and I did not think there was anything left for me to learn. Now I've got some new stuff to watch. Lame English 4kids stuff, but nice to feed an old obsession nonetheless. 8)

Terrible day today - I heard the first two Christmas adverts on the radio :?

It's too early for that...

On the journey home I also saw a man with his pants almost halfway down his legs, probably thinking he was looking cool, and a lady who carried a handbag as if it had a contagious disease, it was very peculiar!

Oh crap. It will be that blasted Slade song again soon. It's played Every. Sodding. Year.
I hate hate hate the stupid forced jollity of Christmas!

It's a wonder (a) they stay up and (b) people can walk at all. Seen a few of those round here and it just looks rather silly. There have been better fads...

Maybe it was radioactive, or about to go off. 8O
