They put up a Christmas tree at work and my first response was *groan* it's that time of year again.
I don't know why, but then I had a realisation that I feel old. I want to go back to when christmas used to be exiting.
Maybe it's because by default adults are on the the naughty list and don't get any presents from mr clause :P l

Non-primary reasons why I want to leave my job.

My primary reason is whatever I'm looking for (like this lifelong quest I have), I cannot see that will be find if I stay, and I am not growing.

Secondary reason is that this entirety of incompatibilities; no accomodations, no help or means of prioritization, no deeper understanding, not having an equal by my side, not playing my strengths and all weaknesses, and unsuitable for my chronological clock.

The distant third is time and money.

I can put it all up with the secondary and tertiary reasons as long I can see where I'm going and that I am truly progressing.

Most of my progress isn't this gradual learning through experience, but in short bursts of realizations; the things that most people cannot articulate, things that they never had to think of...
Let alone understand.

This song and this version really lifts my spirits. I can't explain it.

Speaking of which, WP really needs a Christmas soldier. The others can join in January.

How is it that a protest song of all things can make me feel down in the mouth?

Should I listen to Give Peace a Chance? On the other hand....the beauty of this song makes me cry from time to time.

If ignorance is bliss, why does it cause pain? I need a hanky to cry into.

I kind of want one of those realistic baby dolls. It'll probably be disappointing because it's not an actual baby though.

Personally my favourite thing about my stuffed cat is that she does everything I'd want from a real cat, without the pooping, making noise, making messes, needing to be fed, etc.

I'm trying to decide how much stuff I want to delete off of my computer once I get things backed up. I have a lot of music I don't need to have stored on my main hard drive.

I'm still trying to figure out how in the hell that squirrel got into the kitchen. It's been a weird day, but that whole thing was hilarious. I've never had a squirrel on my shoulder before.

My emotions are German and annoying, but they're mine.

If I could change my username, I would. MapleKraut would be my name of choice. I picked my username when I was young and foolish. Better yet, AppleStrudel. I can't stand my username. It's a reminder of a harder, unhappier time.

Retaillers: offering 30% off or £5 off when you spend £20 isn't a "gift". A gift is 100% off when you spend absolutely nothing.
