I helped out some people with work-related things. I’m glad I have the knowledge to assist easily. Sometimes what seems so relatively easy to me is so highly valued by those I help. Of course, I’ve put a life time into learning all this stuff and how it all fits together.

Took the pupies to the dog park for the first time. Then had to give them baths. Made lunch. Later I'm gonna get the lawn mower running and maybe clean the garage

Had far too much fun stitching up a shirt that was coming undone at a shoulder, because stitching is something I apparently find far more enjoyable now than I should. :? Maybe the anticipation of receiving my heavy duty needles and an appropriate sized awl is doing that one, as I kinda really like my sandals and I doubt I'll be able to find a similar pair of them. I don't dare ever dabble in the witchcraft known as knitting though. :P

Had to help play couples counseling for some people via text. Sadly, there's only so much I can do there, as it's kinda hard when one person has a personality disorder and doesn't want to face it and the other side also has trouble understanding that it's there and how to handle such. Sorta sad when both people really like one another so much. It can work, but...both sides need to work with it, accept it. Hopefully they seek professional help, albeit, the conclusion won't be much different.

Brush cutting around the yard because that will never end.

I was just having a conversation regarding voyageurs stitching up their only shirt, or pants, on their years’ long trapping trips in the Canadian north. Fishermen are known for stitching as well, when mending nets. Leather workers stitch. Finally, I am certain I read of a culture in which men knit. Perhaps one of the far north peoples who have little do do all winter when it is dark 23 hours a day?

What did I achieve? Vacuumed the office rug. Put together a twig stove. Various work stuff. Attended a zoom meeting about how to legally spend the $157,000 grant I’m getting for my employees. That last wore me out so thoroughly, I took a nap, zonked out for nearly three hours!

Last face to face contact done. Only a dozen or so phone calls tomorrow. Enter it all. Complete two support plans. And I’ll be done for the month! I almost surely will have to work Saturday.
