Edit: Oops, nearly ended the thread! Question: What do you think of big commercial charities? Do you think they could operate better and if so, how do you think they could acheive this?

It's been my impression that a lot of them only give a small percentage of their funds to the actual cause. I think they could improve on that.

I know. It's a shame, right? I don't give to charity because I've heard most of the money goes towards "administrative" causes, whatever those are. To me, it means that the charities now have money to pay off their mortgages and get that 30 foot yacht they've been after for years.
