37? Why not 38?

Though, it appears to me that most, if not all people on these forums have at least another person they relate to, though I feel I have none. How I tend to view my position is to analogise that planet Earth here is NT, those on the spectrum would represent the moon or some other planet (if one wants to play about with the Wrong Planet reference), and here I am, a few million light years out into space.

Should I regret posting this or what?

You are thought of, ten, in fact I think of you every time I go in my garage, because there's a big orange cone in there. My daughter rescued it from somewhere, because I had told her about you, and now we have another mouth to feed, once we figure out what it likes. :duh:

haha. Well, I don't necessarily feel ignored - not anymore anyway. I do feel though that I'm an outsider wherever I go (at best), including places like here. But I'm weird, can't be helped!

Well, Cornflake, maybe you should start up a new breakfast cereal with that idea of yours there!

Hehe that is a good idea TenPencePiece, you guys could patent it and get wealthy selling it all over the world. I am extra-weird so I sort of understand feeling like an outsider; been one for decades now.

Just catching up on what I missed. I have had a crazy couple of days cleaning out my dressers and closets etc in anticipation of some new old furniture coming my way. I'm exhausted and totally overloaded and as usual I seek out my own kind in order to distract and relax.

Thanks for being here you guys!

Oh well. You don't know what it is like to be an outsider unless you're a Finn living in a remote corner, trying to say something in a predominantly American forum. It's not the forum's being American, I have nothing against this fact. It's just... it's useless even to try to describe it.

Krabo: I beg to differ... especially since this forum really isn't predominantly american... there are a large number of people from the UK here as well...

AND... we ALL know what it is like to be an outsider... we're Aspies

I am pretty sure this applies to everyone who is not north American or from an anglo culture (UK, NZ, AUS, etc).

Whenever there is a post with social thing or cultural references I must think "Wait! What is the anglo standard?" before even attempting to write a response.
Even so most of the cultural references which are not baseball, basketball or politics related go over my head.

I rather enjoy that there are people from places other than America on here. In fact, I think the UK-ers out number the Americans on here for sure. Either way, its nice to get another point of view that isn't American for a change. I, personally, embrace it with open arms.
