They are otherwise exactly the same except that my mum doesn't put icing sugar on top; rather, she glazes the top or bottom with maple syrup.

Lovely. I remember eating these as a kid.
I enjoyed them too.
I am more of a chocolate cake fan these days.
Although, I haven't had any for a long time.

It was my disappointment that Boo wasn't around that was extinguished by the cinnamon buns. [Boo hid in the basement the whole time and didn't come down from the big shelf she hides on.]

An ad just came on the radio for a vet which had a cat yowling and my cat (who had been sleeping until then) instantly sprang up on the lounge chair, looking highly alarmed.
