Hehe good idea, Sylkat. I was thinking "eyepatch" as soon as I threw out my contact but the closest thing I could come up with was a sticky-note. A cut and colored sticky-note would probably have been a superior idea :P

Wow. That was ... very odd. I have a mirror up at work because I listen to headphones so I don't always know when someone has stepped into my cube and called my name. So the mirror is aimed behind me to the entrance. Just a minute ago I very clearly saw someone step into my cube and I felt their footsteps on the floor and everything and I only have one earbud in so I also clearly heard them say my name. But when I turned around there was no one there.

I took a bit of a WP break to socialize with some friends at Stepping Stones. I'm ready to post again. :)

Take it from a person that lives in the "Artic Zone" once you see it , it looses all its mistery and intrigue. It looks all pretty and white for about 1 day !

Especially after months of shoveling, scraping, getting stuck in it, and freezing your butt off.

Do you live in the "Tropical Zone"?

Snow can be beautiful. I lived in Minneapolis for a year. One time I was walking through downtown at about 1AM, and as anyone who lives in a city knows, downtown areas are abandoned by 6PM, let alone 1AM. It was dead silent, like walking through the streets of Raccoon City after the zombie apocalypse, and the street lamps were giving off that eerie glow that they always seem to do during the winter. In the middle of this, it started snowing in those huge clumps the size of your fist. One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Shame I didn't have a digital camera with me.

Really, well you're young man still so you no doubt will before you grow old. You never know. I saw an Aurora Borealis in Tucson, Arizona when I was 16 or 17 years old. I tried to get my mother to come and look at it but she thought I was joking with her, so she missed it. Then they spoke about it on the news that night, and she felt bad.
