The Waltons is the worst show I’ve ever seen in my life, and my mom watches it constantly. Every episode can be summed as follows: “Damn kids! Why can’t they be more like us?! Why can’t things just be like they used to be?! Get off my lawn!”

I suggest looking up some musical sequences from The Music Man from 1962 on You Tube (not the cruddy 2003 Matthew Broderick version). Them be some darn tootin' good tunes. 8)

I wonder how a string of dried peas would look on a pea green Christmas tree.

Have you ever seen something that's hilarious and disgusting at the same time? I just overheard a commercial on TV for some kind of store that's selling Christmas gifts. The announcer urged me to buy from them "in Jesus's name." Buy! Consume! It's what Jesus wants!

There's snow on the way. Too bad the part time people aren't shoveling snow at my work place, anymore.

Rain is nice when you're not having to go out in it

If only these poseurs read Pilgrim's Progress. Something happened in the last three centuries and Mr. By-Ends is now immortal and flies around taking the insincere and greedy fools and equivalents [sic] of the product that is on the shelf simply because it looks somewhat similar but manages to cause the viewers to imagine that the overall quality is lower than it should be. It is just like a person who somehow manages to set up an Apple® store out of cardboard and marked with obvious marker ink. Pretenders like these damage any group in existence, and it takes only one well-reported incident to cause an expression of the part-to-whole fallacy. How I despise these worm-ridden flea-bitten fly-eating slime-exuding rat-kissing sulfide-forming excrement-releasing uncontrollably-mating scum of the earth, regardless of which group they claim to represent.

(How nice it is to have a post which I can quote and commentate to vent the emotion I understand as anger, especially today.)

I need to find a way to make money. I can do driveways in the winter and weed in the summer.
