It's amazing how punctuation can change the meaning of things... :)

And I am glad someone else cares about pronunciation, but mainly, I celebrate the fact that someone understands the plight of the student who has a suppressed intellectual drive that is, on the whole, unsatisfied at school even with the more interesting work.

Thoughts like this occur to me almost on a daily basis:

"Jesus, (s)he was born in 1993? What is (s)he, like four years old? Oh, wait. That would be... 18?! I feel old."

Dear Jory, In your second-to-last post you were concerned about your hypersensitivity to criticism, real or assumed; that is a BIG hallmark of Asperger's, and a big problem for me, personally. We don't understand the 'clues' and non-verbal communications of NTs, we frequently misunderstand what is meant in conversations, we take things the wrong way, we make mistakes, and are always being corrected. As a result, we hear criticism/scolding whether it is meant as such or not. Of course you are being hypersensitive, it just means you are one of us! Sylkat

Time for me to embark on the 7 hour round trip to London (we have to go to Huddersfield first)

Heh heh heh, look at this interesting palindrome and translate it... :)

5`-AATGGCAAGCCCTGAAAGAGGAGAACGTTCGTAGGATCGAACGTTCTCCTCTTTCAGGGCTTGCCATT-3`
3`-TTACCGTTCGGGACTTTCTCCTCTTGCAAGCATCGATGCTTGCAAGAGGAGAAAGTCCCGAACGGTAA-5`

Whoever solves it first gets a reward. Note that just translating AAT-GGC-AAG... will get you nowhere.

I'm going to drop off my offers to shovel driveways in my old neighbourhood later on this morning. Most of last night's snow melted. There's a lot of snow in the forecast for this winter, so the sooner I get that done, the better. :)

a brief update from the lesser fudo..
he lost all his prized posessions, was turfed out by the council and ironically, was moved around a lot.
so, apologies to thewrll, seems i should've sent you all the dvds if only to insure they be used.
alas, such is life. but lo! he yet lives and it could always be worse, though soon perhaps that may not be so..
hope all is fair and unstained on wrongplanet.
i may well report back but at present only 5 more minutes are afforded me. library computers :(
fare thee well, look for me when you see me.

Mick Avory, the world's first Plus-sized model. 1966-1968. I really look up to him and if I look up to him as much as I say that I do, I should have a bowl of cereal instead of a tiny cereal bar. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it. :)

The awkward thing is that my boss lives in my old neighbourhood. I still need to drop off those offers. I've got to do what I've got to do.

I have boxes and books to move around today. I think I just have too much stuff.

I'm eating a banana. I like how bananas are always consistent. As long as you get the colour right you can expect it to the same as the last one.
