Did you tell her that she should eat at least two or three of them a day?

I can't decide if I was suggesting she take them internally or not.

that is a pretty shrewd observation, that most folk would rather deal with the short term rather than the long term.

well, i just love talking about dreams (my major obsession for years and years now) .. mine and others' equally .. yet .. 2 things have to be brought up ...

1 after being here at WP for more than a year i'm still unsure how to use the forum best .. i will very very easily feel burned out .. almost no matter how little i say ..

2 when it comes to discussing dreams .. my feeling is .. if my unconscious suggests something .. fine! .. if it doesn't .. well, it doesn't .. so then no comments appear ..

just bringing up stuff from dreams is IME very very helpful .. so .. even with no "result" .. there may still be a big payoff .. maybe a new dream coming and being much clearer for instance ..

well, had one of my recurring dreams again. I basically converted it into story form for a creative piece, but it stil;l goes word by word what happened in the dream.

so, just saying what pops up .. no claim to any truth or knowledge here .. the dicussion is the goal .. ok?

Something just kind of felt... off, kind of like that prickling sensation on the back of my neck at the time. When I got downstairs, I noticed an odd, pale fog out of the corner of my eye and turned in that direction. There was nothing there other then the kitchen, but as soon as I turned away the fog would re-appear. I decided heading towards the kitchen would be the best course or action. The fog was still there, but this time it was down at the bottom of the basement steps. Grabbing a flashlight, I had then decided to head into the basement, flipping the switch for the only light down there.

very very fascinating dream .. yet .. this much text is intimidating for me :)

i feel you are urged to dig into your unconscious .. into your mind .. your soul here .. asked to step yet further .. deeper .. shining your light (consciousness) on things .. discovering .. exploring ..

going deeper .. lower level .. is in my experience .. going to deeper layer of the mind .. more unconscious .. yet possibly also more important .. more fundamental ..

-----Now, this house had been in my family for years, and I knew the layout of the place by heart. Upon reaching the bottom of the steps, the sense of unease and apprehension grew. There was something very... wrong about the basement. There were no doors down there in the past, but at the very bottom of it all, there was this large, metal door, with a small opening covered with bars. I approached the door and looked through the bars. A long hallway with 5 doors, 2 on each side and one at the very end stretched out before me. That ever-persistent fog flooded the corridor, but this time it wasn't disappearing. Hoping I would find the source of the fog, I opened the door and headed on in, leaving the door open in fear it would close shut behind me.

maybe also digging into your family's past .. soul .. mind here ..

you proceed despite fear .. maybe conflict .. both eager and ready to explore .. and also scared .. proceed with caution! ??

All of the doors were in the same fashion as the first, a solid, metal door with a barred window. As I ventured forwards, the fog retreated to the room at the very end, so I saved that door for last. I walked up to the first door on the left side and looked on through the window.

i feel the fog is .. maybe like a drug .. clouding your mind .. or maybe a fear .. or some other mental block against seeing more and deeper ..

-----What I could describe as a crypt was on the other side, except there were people I knew to be dead walking around. I even saw my parents. The one that was then my father noticed me and walked over to the door, lurched forwards suddenly and grabbed the bars shaking and letting out a piercing otherworldly shriek of rage, the mouth dropping down further than should be possible, exposing glinting, pointed fangs lining the mouth. I jumped back in response, sweat beading on my brow as the fear further crept up my spine. I felt like I wanted to leave that place, but something, perhaps someone was prodding me forwards. It could have been curiosity, I wouldn't know, but I walked to the opposite door and looked on through.

anger from parents being locked up in the basement of your soul? .. maybe needs to be faced and then possibly let out .. released ..

She had died in an accident before I had ever gotten the chance to even ask her out for dinner. She saw me as well and started crying out for help. I felt a strong urge to open the door and free her, but as I tried to open the door, I couldn't even get it to budge. I had no choice but to leave her, a sense of guilt wracked my senses from that point on her as when I turned around and headed for the next door, I could hear the screams and tearing of flesh from the cell she was in.

guilt .. conflicting with attraction .. ?? .. maybe trying to be gentler with your emotions .. feelings ..

-----The next room looked like hell on earth, the twisted remains of buildings, vehicles, and other structures littered the ground as far as the eye could see, the sky brown from the dust and debris. I turned from that door and looked into the next room. This room was the complete opposite and looked the part of a veritable paradise, until I saw some man running across the beach on the other side. Two odd-looking creatures were chasing him. I would call them goblins I guess. They managed to grab a hold of the man and proceeded to rip him limb to limb. I could only guess they were going to eat the man. I turned around and headed towards the last door, the one at the end of the hall. Fear... no, dread, overcame me as I looked through the window, but what was there to be scared about, I just saw an empty room filled with fog and what appeared to be a stairwell spiraling downwards. I was still feeling like I was being prodded onwards, so I figured I would obey this unseen entity and enter the room.

some cultures theach the children to always stop and turn and confront whatever is scaring them in dreams .. it can't ACTUALLY hurt you .. :) .. but of course still extremely scary .. but just talking about it may be important first step ..

-----The air in here was far colder than the hall, far heavier as well. I could see my breath, or was it the fog that didn't disappear this time. I walked to the edge of the stairwell and pointed the flashlight down it. As far as I could see, there was no bottom. I still felt that prodding sensation, as well as an even further heightened fear and a sense I needed to get the hell out of there fast. My feet however, kept on going forwards, down the stairs I went. At first the steps came easily, but after what appeared to be 10 minutes, I still haven't reached the bottom, nor could I see the room above anymore. The air had been rabidly getting colder and heavier as I made my way down. My body grew numb, and breathing became difficult. I then passed out and knew nothing but the cold, inky black since.

Maybe this is a clue to the fog .. it comes from your breath? .. they seem connected at least ..

it seems you are more scared the deeper you go .. but you are very brave and keep on down .. until the fear finally wins ..

maybe doing a picture or story .. what is it like down there? .. what do you see? hear? .. feel?

as always just saying what pops up .. no claim to truth or anything ..

In agreement with the first part especially. I do a lot of nighttime meditation, and I usually end up probing the extreme depths of my mind instead of relaxing any.

digging into the family past thing... could relate to working on the family tree in some way.

I know the conflict with my father was about the splitting of my parents back when I was younger, I always blamed him for it too. Well nowadays we do get along, considering ive got to help him constantly because of his MS.

Yeah, I had an Interest in a girl who did die in a car accident. Was going to ask her out that day too so yeah, had guilt back then because It was too late to ask, considering ive had feelings for her for a while before it. I have moved on though.

Yeah, could be something in that. Thanks auntie!

Maybe you can help me with this one; I am repeatedly having dreams of a sexual nature about an old crush of mine, someone who I was friends with about 15 years ago. What's that about, eh?

Latest weird one...

I was out on the atlantic city boardwalk with some "friends that I have never met or heard of" and found a $2 bill. I put it in my wallet and continued on towards the hotel I was staying at. I stopped at a few shops and notice that my wallet started to overflow with $20 bills from nowhere. Of course I then start spending it all and it still kept replenishing itself somehow.

After shopping for a bit, the weirdness sets in. Somehow this woman (attractive by my standards anyways) starts stalking me everywhere. My "friends" notice it too but only make remarks that she is attractive and probably likes me. Well after a while, I turn around she runs at me, and jumps into me, wrapping her arms round me neck, legs round my waist. Despite my reluctance to do so, I end up taking her back to my hotel room. You can easily figure out the next part.

After said adult content part, she leaves, I fall asleep, and end up waking up In real life.

The last weird dream I had occurred a few weeks ago.

First, I dreamt of the Star Trek Enterprise episode "Bound". I was near the three Orion Slave Girls that were in that episode, yet they didn't seem to notice me (I might have been invisible). Later, I recalled how the United Federation of Planets was formed even though this part of the dream took place in 2154.

The rest of the dream took place in the present. I woke up and got ready to go to the community college. I caught the bus going downtown. When the bus got to the downtown terminal (which was larger and in a different location than in real life) I got off and noticed that a whole bunch of older buses that have been sold due to service cuts were back up and running.

What's weird is that in this dream is that there were at least three 1991 Gillig Phantoms running, 1681, 1683, and 1676 which was on the route I was supposed to transfer to. I recalled that they had sold them nearly four years earlier and that greatly surprised me. I stood by 1676 waiting for the driver to come back. I just listened to the engine idle. After about a couple of minutes, I was talking to a girl that I was friends with in the dream. When the driver came back, the alarm went off, thus ending the dream.

I don't remember much about my dream last night but I do remember running from something & being afraid for my life & I think maybe a knife/dagger thing was in it but I don't remember the details about it; I don't think I was holding it so I assume I may of been running from it. The rest of what little I do remember was weird things that were out of place & made no sense(kind of like shroom trips(I never done that or anything illegal but from the vids & stuff I've heard a lot of my dreams resemble shroom trips for some rezone). My back was really sore when I woke up. I think I slept in a very weird uncomfortable position; I tend to do that when I have bad dreams. I don't think I sleep in a bad position when I wake from good dreams. Maybe I should DL the eps of iCarly & put the audio on low volume while I sleep. I always sleep good when I dream about her. Or better yet marry her; I bet I would sleep great then. I think I would sleep & dream a lot better if I was with someone instead of by myself

Don't remember much but I know I dream more than I want to. To bad dreams are still somewhat of a mystery.

There are many theories out there about them. Personally I love carl jungs work about them, been reading about it quite a bit lately.

Most of my dreams are extremely weird. Last night, I dreamed that I asked my mom for a tampon, and she handed me a rubber ducky. It turned out that the rubber ducky was a new brand of tampon, so I put it in. I could only get its head in, and I had an obvious bulge in my pants. Not only this, but we were at an acquaintance's house, in their kitchen. I was walking around the kitchen like this, admiring the marble counter tops while my mom talked to her acquaintance.

I was climbing up train station stairs in order to board a subway train and this well-dressed younger man kept on trying to trip me to make me fall when all of a sudden this older, very tall man throws him down the steps and kills him. The rest of the dream was spent with me thanking this man for protecting me. But he keeps on staring straight ahead and ignores me even though I'm clasping his hands.
