I wonder if people on Facebook think it's odd when a person they don't know likes their posts or is it just an accepted thing

Now I'm back to managing and figuring my body temp the new usual way because this is not fever or hot flashes.

Depends how the user treats their FB profile.

It's not odd if the user has thousands of added friends and followers.
Even way less odd and more acceptable if the user has a 'pilot' (hired social media manager)

It's odd when the user is very private, quiet off, picky and exclusive on who's adding them. They will notice it.

I just didn't know if it was some kind of etiquette thing where people just responded to everyone who "likes" them

I think it is normal for people to be more responsive in socially reciprocal relations.

Thanks man

I've been "liking" someones posts kind of anonymously. I mean I'm not hiding my face but he just doesn't know who I am to him. I'm just sorting if testing the waters to see what kind of person he is...he does keep responding to me really quickly.

He's got 100s of friends and followers so he's not short of attention or anything like that. Maybe he's just a chilled out guy who wants to make everyone feel special...I'd like to think so anyway

Some people on social media respond to all the likes they receive with a comment or a like of the other persons comments if they have made one, and some people are selective with how they like other people's content.

It really depends on the individual.

But usually it indicates something positive if a person is responsive on social media. If they ignore you completely, then they are either ignorant, busy or they might not like you.

Sometimes I look at a person and I think to myself: How have you not got a broken nose
