I dragged this stone roller back across the bay at low tide to the farm where it once came from.



On the new, improved sack truck with reinforced axle



I found it at the top of the headland 7 years ago, got it half way then gave up.



I don't know quite how to get it up the seawall, I'll leave that for another day.

Here at 05:54 in the morning all I can say is that I achieved getting to today.
But, hey, that's a good start ...

Today for the first time I successfully attended a Zoom conference

Usually I am bad at computers

Now my worthless corpse is ready to learn the latest greatest coding language

Got my air conditioner in, talked to some people, and cleaned a bit. There are other small things but I'm just glad my day went smoothly for once.

Got myself Indian food For dinner .. not too spicy ….. very satisfying ..

Cool I haven't even tried Indian food yet. There's Indian food around where I live too that's a good idea I'll check it out.

Chicken Marsala , ask for not too spicy ,with rice…if they have that? It’s tasty ,,, but when I first tried Indian food in my late teens Was out with friends of Indonesian heritage ……. Think they had asbestos tastebuds….
Did not know much about ordering, and heard all the stuff about Indian Curry , My friend recommended it ..And so tried it . OOPPSS put me off Indian food for over 30 yrs .

I went swimming and diving.
I bought paint for some small touch-up projects (walls).
I had a good, verbal conversation with my mother without shutting down.
I sent a surprise gift to someone I love.
I wrote in my journal, walked my dog, and steamed my floors.

Bought some groceries, talked to some people, cleaned lots, played a song on guitar.

Rescheduled doctors appt , I missed today . Made my favourite meal today for dinner .Went by a recycled clothing store found a top.Earlier.

eventually peeled myself outta the rack, picked a few puffballs out in the yard.

Cut up many of the fallen branches with a pocket knife because...why not (avatar). I guess it's always fun to see how tough things are, testing things, and its name says it's apparently resilient. It apparently is too. I did a lot of chopping with it on branches from thumb to wrist thick, generally hardwood, the lock is fine and there's no blade play. Edge is obviously fine, as it's not hard material I was chopping, albeit I was twisting the blade now and again to break branches apart quicker and going through knots. Edge is about...10 degrees inclusive, sorta convex and with a 1000 grit finish. Spyderco Resilience. On the bigger side for a pocket knife, but it's fine.

Obviously expended far more energy and time than needed, but I'm stupid like that. The handle edges probably need to be more rounded, as it did cause slight grazes when holding it further back to get more power when chopping. Used the Trail Master on anything bigger as I'm not always stupid. Chainsaw on the fallen trees another day.
