I confess that I was posting so furiously that I missed my 1000th post, and I am actually a little upset about it - but not as upset as I was when I slept through a midday total eclipse of the sun.

I confess when I was a child, there was an eclipse while I was at school. They said not to look at it because it'll make you go blind and guess what I did....... yep.
I get around pretty good now.

I confess I felt guilty for saying that sense there really are blind people.
That does make me feel better.

I confess that I could tell you stories about Donna all night, such as the time she dropped one of her glass eyes down the drain and when the super came to fish it out he said, "Yep. I see it down there, staring up at me"
Also, I confess that she wanted to order a set of eyes with vertical slits, like a cat. 
She taught me that sighted people are uncomfortable with blindness, not blind people.
I also confess that I will stop jabbering now

I confess that blind people develop their other senses far beyond the senses of those that are able to see.
