I shouldn't be so mean. >.<

Edit: That name, 'transition to life' makes no sense to me. It makes it sound like I'm not already living, and that getting a job and 'integrating into society' are all there is about life. :skull:

You're right, that's a mass delusion. People think material rewards are worth forgoing fun for most of their waking lives. I'm lucky I enjoy dense logic & challenging thought experiments but I'm still not sure about making a career of that stuff - there's a good chance I should just become a ski instructor or something.

I made my first wallpaper today using Paint 3D instead of Photoshop Elements, it didn't come out quite the way I wanted, but oh well :)

Fancy sharing it with us - is it Eve Myles themed?

Of course, this is it 8) I have made better things with Photoshop, but I want to learn Paint 3D or Paint Shop Pro because they cost less.

OOh! maybe a good idea for a thread , share your screensaver.

Mines boring just the bog standard one it came with , I used to have photo's of family and pets but I have two many icons which ruins the screensaver.

Whats's Claymore?

Claymore is a dark fantasy manga that features a 96% female cast, the titular Claymores, who are named after the giant broadswords they carry. They fight monsters, yet are half monster, and must constantly struggle not to give into their monster side. If you're interested, I can share you a link. However, it is pretty violent.

Here you go.
http://www.mangareader.net/claymore/1

Though it starts out rather slowly, it has quite a complex plot, with many, many twists and turns. Things pick up around Volume 3.

I am having cravings for fish and chips from a shop I visited years ago in the remote London suburb of Crawley.

I wonder if they do trans-Atlantic drone deliveries.

Perhaps this counselor should be informed that there's a 130-page thread here with like a gagillion posts about how everyone loves you. :D

I don't think online communities count, unfortunately. I'm almost reluctant to tell her your exact words for that reason. My mum was once of the opinion that online friends don't really count as real friends. I'm not sure if she still holds that opinion, and again, I'd rather not ask.

^^ I was thinking the same thing, with that "Transition to Life" title.

Do they think you're still coming through the birth canal?

I could, of course, show up to the course and start rambling on about how there is no death, only life, and all of the other spiritual sutras I've collected over the years, and wrap it up with a lecture on how the Shinto story of Amaterasu in the Cave is linked to Socrates' Cave Allegory in that the light everyone seeks is within, and that all life is divine.

It'll depend on whether I can jump over my shyness on the opening day of, and how many people end up being there.

It goes from April to June.

-.- I feel tired of it already, and it hasn't even started! Endurance might come in handy.
