Sorry to hear that dude :(

I have nothing adequate to say

It could be worse.
There's a lady at the clinic with half her nose missing.
My hair may grow back; I doubt her nose ever will.

There is always someone in a worse position than yourself but sometimes it just doesn't feel like it.

I watched some fascinating TV programmes about the makers of magnetic prosthetics , they are very convincing.

Yes, they're doing some wonderful stuff with 3D printing too.

If there is 2 of you that sounds a little more than my food bill , that's about 145 english pounds a week , I spend about 80 quid a week on two people ( that's just food nothing else like bog paper etc )

I watched them print a 3D bone on The Good Doctor and wondered how far off we were from that actually happening and it already had 8O

There's three of us.
So that's not too bad then?
I buy organic fruit and vegetables, but I get a discount because I have a regular packaged order.

That includes loo paper and all the other household stuff as well.

That sounds very reasonable then , you need to splurge more on nice food and spoil yourself

I spend less than about £20 on food per week - I am on a very tight budget.

This week I will get more veg as I think I am not eating enough of it despite my hearty soup/broth.

Kale is supposed to be quite a good nutritional veg.

Is dried seaweed any good? Would I still benefit from it?

£20 a week 8O Flippen Heck Tem , times are tough. I could probably survive on £20 a week if I lived alone ( I've done it before ) but it would be Ramen noodles and nothing healthy whatsoever.

Now I feel guilty about joking about you being in prison and broth being a punishment - I got a big mouth sometimes

Ha ha no worries Mr Ferris - I don't mind and I find it funny.
Your humour puts a smile on my face so don't stop it please.

Listen, I have been pretty well off, financially, in the past.
I have also been skint. I am skint again but it makes no difference.
My life was no more or less better with money.

I have some tough decisions to make this year but this is life.
What is more important is friends and the warmth and happiness I get from them.

As Raleigh said before. I know people who are worse off than me.
I am trying to eat healthy so have included more legumes in my diet.
Soup is a way of me trying to get healthy and also cheap as chips.

It's weird , I have also been in a very well payed job and skint and my life wasn't better with money although maybe a little less stress regarding bills. I would class myself as skint at the moment but not by your definitions

It's nice that you have friends to give you warmth and happiness , I have my GF and that's all I need.

I also class you as a friend Mr Ferris along with others on here.
I appreciate you are virtual but it makes you no lesser of a person.

Kura questioned this earlier about friends on here.
Whether they are acceptable to the outside world of WP.

I get everything I need from here and my visible friends.

It's an official/clinical visitor.
Lots of questions and headmelting.
An unwanted necessity.
Like toilet visits.
