It is cold out there isn't it? I had to aim the hairdryer at me as well as the pipe earlier to make sure I didn't freeze.

It's flippin brass monkeys out there :shaking:

I bet that would of made a great video , you sitting outside in the cold using a hairdryer to keep warm :lol:

The best of it was that the hair dryer is at least 25 years old, maybe more.
I thought it would short out in the gusting snow but it survived - what a great piece of kit!
Move over hot air gun (not that I could find mine when I needed it).

I could have made it easier by putting a blanket over me and the dryer - now that would have made a better video :lol:

I had a bit of a meltdown yesterday.

If they had an Olympic event for miscommunication, I would be a serious contender for the gold.
I'm a complete natural, no training needed.
I could write the manual on how to piss off and alienate people.
Except I couldn't, because even I don't know how I manage it.

we just keep communicating until there's better understanding. it helps if both people assume goodwill on the part of the other. if someone gets overly upset, it's on them, not me. everyone is responsible for their own reactions

you're human, so imperfect, as is the other communicator. try to allow for that and take some deep breaths rather than stab, stab, stab, or even thinking about stabbing. you let other people be human. try to be as nice to yourself. be your own best friend.
