Wise, indeed.

I dreamt I was travelling and I had brought nothing with me, not even a change of clothes.
I came to a city and parked in a multi-level car park while I went and bought some food, etc.
When I came back my car was gone.
Then I looked over the balcony and saw someone driving it away.
So I jumped over the balcony and sailed through the air like some kind of superhero, or video game character, then chased the car thief all through the busy city streets, but I never caught them.

I've had similar superhero dreams , it's bloody typical isn't it , you're a superhero and still powerless when it comes to being f****d over

^ I take it as a commentary on trying to pass as "normal" but I never quite get there.

It literally takes a superhuman effort.

Stress Dream: Losing Your Car or Your Car Gets Stolen

This stress dream is connected to uncertainty or loss of motivation. Your car represents your “drive” and motivation to continue to move forward in some area. If this is your stress dream, you need to ask yourself what in your life you no longer have the desire to continue with. Is it your job? A relationship? A project? If that doesn’t fit, ask yourself what is causing you to feel uncertain and directionless. Maybe you can’t find a job and no longer know what to do. Or perhaps your kids are unruly and you don’t know which path to take in order to deal with them.

^take this with a grain of salt - dream analysis is bunkum

Well, I'm certainly feeling uncertain and directionless.
I don't have the desire to continue with my life.
I don't want to go forward: I want to wallow in this moment.

Wallowing can get too comfortable sometimes , it's too easy to get in a bad thinking routine.

You're telling me.
It's too hot to move; can't do any outdoor activities after 7am because it's too darn hot; don't want to go out anywhere because I look like a freak; my speech is affected so can't talk to anyone; balance is affected; fatigued so can't go for a drive; painkillers caused constipation so I took a remedy and now have diarrhoea; the fun goes on. :D

I can't help thinking that perhaps you need to sit with those feelings for a while Mr Raleigh?
Like take your own advice and remember how to relax and recuperate?
Do nothing.

Hey take my advice because I am not using it :)
