I wish he had the equipment to check out your battery, too.

He probably will - but if he doesn't I have a meter myself so can check it.

I want to take it for a long drive to see if the battery will take a decent charge.

If you drive to London, that would be a good test....

Some days I feel like I'm going to either scream or explode. Today is one of those days. I feel like, instead of taking a three month long course [which I really don't want to take at all], I need a holiday.

It's all of this silly legal stuff that's tied up to the year long attempts to sell my step-father's house.
It's driving all of us crazy, and it's got to the point where I really don't know if i'm feeling my mum's emotions or my own. Plus she's having sudden crying attacks because she's just so worn out and tired and her nerves are frayed.

Several months ago, mum mentioned having a day just for the two of us, where we can do whatever we want. i hope we can do that eventually.

I'm thinking that going to Comic Con the day before mum's birthday might be a really sensible idea, just to give her a break and a day to herself. it's kind of amazing how there are no shirts like Lucas' anywhere in the store. I'm hoping the Sally Ann will have something similar at the very least. Here I thought Lucas would be an easy costume.
Take a look:

^ maybe if all else fails you could get a plain white shirt and some fabric paint and paint the red stripes on.
Use masking tape to get neat lines, and make sure you put some newspaper in between so it doesn't bleed through while you're doing it.
I used to paint a lot of my own clothing, even my shoes.

I sometimes feel like I don't want to talk to people any more.
But I do.
But I don't.
But I do.

Kura and Mr Ferris mentioned the mandela effect on another thread.

I have come across this - it can happen in therapy if the therapist gets too directive and analytical, especially if the client gives the therapist most of all of the power.

We are sensitive to suggestion from others but our minds can play tricks on us.

Scenario: Twin A is slowly dying. Twin B is in denial. The ship they are on crash-lands on a planet, and one of the twins dies. The surviving twin thinks that she is the twin who died. This fact is only revealed at either the end of Book 6 or 7. I am not sure which twin will die, and which version of the twist would benefit the story more. Any thoughts?

What if the ship never really crashed and they both survive?

What if they both die?

What if they are not twins but 2 parts of the same person?

It's kind of important to the plot that one of them dies, and I've done the 'dead all along' twist twice before in earlier books. However, your third suggestions sounds interesting. Though the idea that it's a split personality at work is not something I'd like to pursue at all.
