I've got all sorts of crazy plans.
If I could somehow earn about $3,000 a month, I could rent somewhere. Then mum wouldn't have so much stress of looking after me. [About 1,000 for rent, 1,000 for utilities, and 1,000 for food.]
[That is what mum suggested would be the monthly amount.]
Things are expensive here, obviously.
If the flower shop volunteer option works, I could get a job there in a few months after the course is done and move as close to the shop as possible. Then there wouldn't be so much financial stress.
If it's not enough, I'll get two jobs, or three or four. Or however much it takes.
Somehow I ended up looking at apartment rents in New Zealand's North Island on a real estate site. I'm not sure how that happened.
I feel so miserable right now.

It is so hard these days to earn enough money to live on.
I do feel for you.
But I can tell you that it is possible to live on a low budget until things improve.
Young people here have very little chance of buying their own home.
There is a shortage of affordable homes to rent and not many well paying jobs.
