Sorry to hear that. I hope you didn't think that I was referring to you regarding the post count discussion or anything, I wasn't, I was trying to think about it in abstract terms rather than dealing with anyone. I hope you aren't offended CockneyRebel.

I was a little upset about it. It's not what you've said. It's what the other person has said. I don't want to say her name. I'm sick of the higher functioning ones using big words. There are people who are 20 years younger than me here who seem to have more brains than I do and than they start talking politics around me, after saying something about my post count. You can read more of what I mean in the Random Truth thread.

I think I am guilty of causing this effect too. Unfortunately, my statements seem to lose a lot of sense when I, "tone down," the diction because the grammar becomes worse. I will try to do so anyway.

In defence of the poster you're not naming, she was having a conversation with iamnotaparakeet about post counts, which led to the conversation turning to post-count competitions.
There was no mention of you, CR - in fact I'd say that poster made it quite clear she was not making the general claim that everyone with a high post count did it; just those few who explicitly mentioned post-count contests and the threads created for the purpose of increasing post counts.

Thank you. You don't have to do that just for me, but thank you. I wish that I could say in a thread exactly who's causing it but if I mention her name, I could get banned. We're not supposed to start threads about other members. I've talked to one of the moderators about about it. Hopefully that will help. I'm just going to enjoy the rest of my night here on WP. :)

I would like to say that most of the younger crowd does make me feel welcome. It's two females who seem sarcastic who almost made me throw in the towel. One's 19 and one's 16. Most of you do make me feel welcome. I've made so many social mistakes here today and I will never mention my post count again, in order to protect my own feelings. :)

I'm not just a dumb drummer. I use my heart more than I use my head. Drummers are like that. :)

I should probably be doing something constructive, but I can't be arsed. Hence this useless post.

I do wish that someone who could converse about biochemistry casually existed on this forum.

CORRECTION:
Some ones do exist, I just wished I could approach them without having a shutdown. (Online shutdowns are annoying because they are very illogical. I wish I could somehow veto the component responsible for the shutdown.)

I agree. Well, there are some people who think they know it all, and those Mr and Ms Know-it-Alls think they are better than anyone else. I just happened to lock horns with a guy here in Wrong Planet who did not agree with my opinions, and though I felt humiliated by their tirades against me, I decided to take it to the PM level.

Mick, we appreciate you a lot. Just because there are a few a-holes here, it doesn't mean that Wrong Planet is a bad place to live. I refuse to deal with the negativity here, since I have too much negativity in real life, and strive to help make WP a better and happier place to be.

I'm going to follow your lead and strive to make WP a better place for everybody as well. I want everybody to feel welcome here. I'm also going to stay and I'll keep posting as well. I feel that I have a lot to offer to this site. The next time somebody starts talking about me but not to my face, I'm just going to ignore them and not take it to heart. If I ignore the offender, they won't get a reaction from me and they won't have any fuel for their fire. I've stayed for this long and I refuse to leave or quiet down because of that. I've been doing so well, ignoring such comments. What happened?

Could it have something to do with the many ASD impostors? From my (highly limited) experience, ASD impostors assume that malingering (pretending to have the condition to gain attention) automatically allows trolling (even though most of us do not troll), and I managed to take care of a few this (American) morning. Although I know your experience lately has been with the less troll-like users, malingering is still a problem and a mental condition of its own.

It has a lot to do with them. I can pick out a couple of impostors who keep on starting threads in General Autism, though I won't mention names. They make about 5 threads a day asking very personal questions about what it's like to be on the spectrum and one of them demands answers without saying anything in their opening posts.
