i dreamt i was being driven by another version of myself, in an orange dodge charger, down a lonely road to a non-descript gray house with white picket fence in front. we drove down a slender driveway beside the house, in back through some messy yard with weeds, to a little accessory dwelling in the back in front of a wooden fence behind which was dense forest. the driver [me] got out and told passenger me that i had a choice- i could get out and walk inside the dwelling, and never come out again, but i'd be comfortable in there and never want for anything. or i could stay in the car and be driven back to the city whence i came. i thought about it for a few seconds, and opted to stay in the car. then i awoke.

^^^neutral, at best. it told me, basically, that i had to keep going forward in life and not retreat to an earlier more comfortable-zoned way of being.

i dreamt i was shopping in the goodwill store for whatever caught my fancy when i came across 3 nested woven straw baskets with purple liners in each of them, the largest was about 14" diameter, 2nd was 11" and the third one was 8" diameter. i showed them to my companion and she concurred they were worth getting.

Sorta wierd one was I wanted to go swimming but all the pools are closed.

Second one weird freak lady sends dogs out to attack my family but she has no legs, and somehow I make the dogs turn on her instead and then don't help her when they eat her then the dream continues to me trying to hide the body, and luckly I woke up and realized there was no real dead body or murdering someone by setting dogs on them and it was just a dream. But what a crazy thing to wake up from.

In elden ring there are weird people who eventually lose their legs, so that bit of the dream was probably from that.

About some resort planet about a thousand years into the future, known for great food, beautiful landscapes, and interesting cultures....only to get destroyed by a supernova. 8O

i dreamt i was in my late folks' house by myself, all the windows were open and i could feel the breezes. after a while of wandering around i came across a bunch of little identical dogs all wearing green ribbon collars. i looked down at one and i saw a broken part of the floor that was teeming with black and white wasps and red ants.

I dreamt of pictures of my uni mentor, him being a baby, a toddler, a teenager—this time with hair.

First, I had a dream where a mother talks about her young son. He was really bad and would yell out very offensive and antisemitic things like "Hitler is cool! Gas the Jews!" or something like that. I thought later that maybe it was a stereotypical case of Tourette syndrome, but I think the boy was saying those things on purpose. The mother had two daughters and she said she put the son in a home and tried to forget all about him and focus on raising the girls. It sounded almost like something out of a trashy talk show.

And then I had a dream that I was young and living with my parents and I was basically acting like a zombie. I wasn't speaking or reacting to anything. Apparently I was supposed to be in school but I had missed several days of it and my parents were angry and upset. I did try to speak but couldn't do it very well. Selective dream mutism, maybe?

Two nights ago I had a dream in which I was Gaelle from "A Moi Seule" who got kidnapped by a man named Vincent - I happen to have those Gaelle dreams quite often.

I dreamt I was in the operating room of a labor and delivery [baby birthing unit of a hospital], but just a day earlier the O.R. had really been a "Godfathers" style pizza restaurant. I tried to set up in the room but all my fingers acted like they were senile, nothing would go together. the birth went on the same no matter what I did. frustrating.

i dreamt my wife told me to go outside and check the mail, and so when i went outside to the mailbox, the environment turned into my former military hospital workplace, i was wandering through a mishmash of different military hospitals i'd worked in decades before, and at each clinic there was a buffet line of delicious foods, as it was some kind of holiday, so the people that had to work that holiday decided to liven the experience up with some good food and relaxation. only when i reached for the food, a glass shield popped up and they wagged their fingers at me, saying i was an outsider and to go away. :(

I dreamt that I was listening to an old-fashioned phonograph compact playing a Leonard Nimoy recording of "the ballad of Bilbo Baggins." :dj:
