Earlier I saw a Christmas tree for the first time this year, in a hairdressing shop window.

According to Wikipedia, Limp Bizkit still exists.

Surely this is an error?

Could you explain please? I think I missed something there.

monkey is busy so you've been posting on wp more, after seemingly disappearing for a while?

Ahh I see. Actually it's the other way round. I got a job a few months ago, and when I'm not there I'm usually hanging around with MONKEY. I didn't know I was away that much anyway, I wasn't aware it was a particularly noticable abscence.

have you thought about moving closer together/in together? Maybe if you're working opposite hours, you could each leave each other messages when you are free and the other's at work- voice messages/emails/videos, so the communication will still be sorta there and you'll have something to look forward to. I'm sure you'll work something out(:

We simply don't have the money or organisation for this yet. I would love to in the near future though. I also forgot to mention that her job is a four week long temporary position, so I suppose it isn't all that drastic. It still scares me though.

aww bless. on the bright side she will have more money to come visit you and when you do finally see each other it'll be twice-as-nice as usual :D

I know what you mean, like we can appreciate the time we have together more, but the time we spend together is fantastic anyway. It just means we have less of it now. :(

At least it will only be for a short while, then we'll have Christmas to spend together (I'm spending it round hers! :D
 :D ) and then everything will go back to normal next year. Unless she finds another job, and also I may have another by then too....

Anyway, I need to think of all the productive things I must do on my own, which I would ordinarily be distracted from doing while she's around. :P

Wasn't bad wasn't great, we were just practising entering data for the mail and stuff, and when to send letters back to the sorting office and when to send them on to the next place. I kept getting crap scores on the practice tests (they aren't trusting us with letters just yet). And if we pass the evaluations this week we get to carry on the next 3 weeks of the job. I hope I get it.

Speaking of which I need the job so I've got spare time in the mornings and middays (afternoon shift) to get christmas shopping done.

Now that's put me on the spot! :P

What to do? What to do?

Erm, any ideas will be welcomed, but PMs would be preferred as I don't want MONKEY knowing the surprise.

I think some people are putting them up earlier with each passing year. October is too early for me personally.

Thinking about trees - I'm waiting on 10 trees to be delivered from the ArborDay.com people. I hope they come while it's still nice outside.

I have a feeling that it's going to snow later on today or tonight.

Absolutely - the trees should only go up in December

I want my tree to be dark orange, with a white stripe on its middle section.
