I know it's traumatizing having your alternator screw up on the road, and I know it's embarrassing having to call your family to pick you up. I know that upset you.

But at least you were clearheaded enough to know that the best solution WAS to call your family. I hope your family didn't treat you bad once they picked you up. Think of the positives, my friend. You did the smart thing.

I might have NOT call my family, and maybe just left the car on the road because I panicked.

You should really seek to join AAA.

Mark: really, truly.....there are other facets of life other than romance. Sometimes, if you are able to emphasize the other facts of life, the romance might take care of itself.

But how many more years will I have to go through until I get the life I want? Until I am 40? 50? 60? 70? The last 12 years of my life have been painful and bleak. I am already on the verge of snapping.

"Sign here, oh and sign here, sign here, sign here as well, oh and don't forget to sign here as well."
"Wait I can trust you guys like anyone else right?"
"Of course you can! Sign here too, and most of all don't forget to sign on this line here!"
"Alright and done!"
"Congratulations! We own your home and your car! Go live on the streets you freaking bum! Goodbye!" :D

This is why you have to say no.

If it is so despairing living where you are, why not move? Or failing that, run/drive away?

So you will allow yourself to feel trapped and do nothing?

I don't want to be trapped. I just don't know how to break the cage.

I am in your exact mindset

My sister (younger but more capable) has come to stay with me a few days to help
I need her guidance fr basic things n to break me out of the rut/cage.
I cant function witjout help
And companionship helps me stop ruminating on useless failures n memories

I think u need someone to help you like that too
Thats why your mind keeps going to your dream of a girlfriend. Stay strong n I hope ypu can make it through the next few weeks till the appointment. I hope it goes well

It's a scary situation and you will have to find a lot of inner courage to break the cage , sometimes all it takes is one courageous moment to set you free.

Why some of the users here have very powerful and strong opinions is because they have done tons of research, lived a long life, had a lot of experience in life, and have been writing for a while. Plenty of users here relate to these strong and powerful opinions who came up with the same idea or have been suggested the same idea.
