I often skived off school too - especially the last few years.

It was a horrible place.

I would go to my Nan's or to the park or a cafe.

I'm getting so jumpy. I keep leaping up and running out to the other room when I think that mum and my step-father are arguing.

That's one of my biggest fears. I can't stand it when mum cries.

Is it the usual stuff Kura?

It has always amazed me how couples can argue about the same thing for a very long time.

I know it is just stress but it still perplexes me because this is not my way.

Sort of. Mum's not feeling well today [or, worse than usual], and so she constantly on edge and tired and snappish.

It amazes me, too.

I got her some tamari tea this morning.

I can't laugh anymore. :(

My brain refuses to change so I can't do new things. It doesn't make any new neural connections and the fact I've failed to do new things is proof.

Could there be another explanation of why you don't do new things?
Because the research out there says we are making new neural connections all the time.
I do wonder if there are some connections which are so strong they dominate?

When we become conditioned we can become unconditioned - does this make sense?
