I keep perseverating over the law clerk lying about me.

I emailed her my apology for any misconstrued ‘RBF’ on my part and explained that as I was tense and depressed it might have come across my face as anger

I gave her lie the benefit of the doubt

However she emailed me back reiterating what she had told my lawyer that i had not responded to her (lie- in fact she was not responding to me) ignored her presence (lie)
left the room before her (lie she stomped out just as I said ok thanks n she left before me)
etc
(All lies as I remember the conversation v clearly n had written it out for the lawyer)
She also said she won’t tolerate me taking out my frustration on her (??? Which i hadnt ?) and ‘lashing out’

How low can you get?

She is either suffering from somevtype of mental disorder or she is genuinely lying and not even ashamed

I just replied Saying
‘That is not the exact transcript I remember.

Eg when you asked are you sure, I said yes.

And I remember not being angry otherwise I wouldn’t have asked the lady at the front desk about how to achieve her hairstyle and joked about my weird puffy hair.

However we clearly have different recollections of the incident.

I’m sorry my tense and depressed face was construed as anger but I don’t remember ignoring your greeting (I frankly don’t even remember being greeted so either I was so tense I did not hear or it wasn’t said? Idk).
So that’s as good an apology I can give.
Thanks fr everything ‘

I think what is currently happening to me is God’s punishment for not believing my Ex Sister i. Law when she wrote on facebook that my XH had molested her

I kept denying it as I was gullible n believed XH, who told me she is suddenly addicted to drugs and gone crazy

She emailed me specifically saying that he was lying and I was being manipulated etc
And i wrote ‘all of the above is lies’

Now God is punishing me for not believing her

Perhaps. I mean he is back to living with his family which includes his weird mom. And he has to pay support.
Maybe that is his punishment

Although i noticed in matters of this world psycho and sociopaths generally thrive and prosper.

Islam although i stopped practicing a year ago but it is comforting to think that those who wrong people intentionally will face the consequences one day, if not in this life.

I am not a religious man so this might not be helpful coming from me.

This might put some perspective on your hardships at the moment - if you are not practicing maybe not.

functioning level = about a 3 out of 10

When I get up is usually a hard time for me , my GF acts like she hasn't spoken to me in weeks and goes into share everything you can mode.

I woke up unusually smiling and satisfied. :o

My typical morning wake up moves between dread and 'I suppose I better get up now'.

Very slowly I am having a smoother transition from sleep to get up and move. :)

Having my sister visit a couple of days ago has as good an effect as medicine.

She is a ‘balm for the soul’— really part of depression can be attributed to being misunderstood and isolated I think.

Her name means ‘giver of blessings’ and I think it is apt.
