Love how Americans add extra syllables to Australia.

It has enough, guys.

I almost got hit by a car a few times because I looked to the left instead of to the right.....

I should have looked at the "look right" signs on the sidewalk (what you call the "pavement.")

They call it the "pavement" in Philadelphia, for some reason.......

We have "traffic circles," which are your "roundabouts." I call them "roundabouts," though. They are much more numerous in the UK than in the US.

In London, there are "subways." But they are paths which go under the pavement so one can get to the other side of a large avenue.

In NYC, the "subway" is exactly the same as the "Tube" in London.

I've spent most of the morning killing processionary caterpillars.

You mean those green ones?

We sometimes get green caterpillars which we have to avoid.

They actually have a "procession" on the "footpath" (which, in the US, is a term used for a little bridge).

These ones.
There were hundreds of them.
They give a nasty itchy sting if you touch them.

I've heard they can kill babies/children.
They'll kill your pets too.
