That is beautiful

All I can think looking at that cake is, "How was that constructed?"
That seems to be my response when people show me something they've made, instead of saying how great it is.
I'll be asking, "So did you use two pudding bowls, then join it together, or what?
How to win friends 101.

That seems more sincere of a compliment ie you are so impressed you are tryinv to figure out how it was done

Hiya, Raleigh.

when I lie, it's mostly to keep other people happy, and it's usually straight out sarcasm.

Like, "Sure I'd love to do canteen duty! Cooking onions and getting greasy for a whole morning is the thrill of my life!"

Hey, grease will keep you looking young! And marinating so long in an enclosed space, in that fried onion scent, will surely put you off unhealthy fried foods. Or will it?

Aha!
Yes, I thought that's how it was done.
If you look closely, you can see the line where they joined the two hemispheres.
Thanks for satisfying my curiosity.

Eau de onion will certainly help fend off the unwelcome proximity of people.

Breakthrough cure for the common cold - communicate with the dead.

Quote:
There is probably nothing as common as catching a cold. This is where foil comes in handy. All you are going to do is to wrap your feet with foil and leave it be for an hour. After a few séances you will notice some of the symptoms, if not all, to go away. If you keep doing it for a couple of days straight, it will cure your cold, once and for all.

My dad called me and I told him I can’t stop thinking about people who lied about me
He said ‘if a driver in the car next to you yells insults at you, would you keep driving or stop driving?’

I thought that put it into perspective well

I don't think the Earth being flat makes sense if you were to consider continents like Antarctica.

I've been trying to take this approach for a while but here is a part of me that thinks if I re-frame every circumstances as non threatening , not abusive , not paranoid then I am not seeing the world as it actually is and I'm deluding myself to a point where I will make myself ill.

^This doesn't sound paranoid in the slightest
