The drinkers on WP are very cool. I want to be like them. Most of them are British as well.

You mentioned in the other thread that you cannot drink alcohol because of medicines? Some people who are on medicines where alcohol is not recommend consume it anyway, to varying degrees. It depends on the type of medicine you are using, but with most medicines, a little alcohol will likely at worse increase the side effects from a medicine and not do any serious harm.

I'm not a doctor however, of course, so any advice on the matter is probably best run through a doctor such as GP. It is okay to ask a GP if you can have a little alcohol with your medicines? As opposed to having loads.

I mean, assuming you might want some alcohol, that is. Of course you can choose to abstain.
