Sorry to spoil the jocular mood

XH shouting at me insulting me etc on phone hung up when i finally had enough and said ‘Stop being a piece of sh—!’

He is getting bolder now that I no longer have my lawyer (who he was scared of)

You’re not allowed to do that here. My lawyer had told me that before. I wrote it down in a text message to him and recorded what happened. I want him to know i am at least going to be vigilant about recording things, which may come back to haunt him.

I'm no lawyer but isn't the law that you are not allowed to record someone without their knowledge , if you tell your XH at the start of every call , this is being recorded - no law is being broken and he might play ball - this is just speculation.

True.

I never know when he will blow up though - this hasn’t happened for months— basically he was being his true self which was well his when i had my lawyer.
He wd do subtle sabotages then or subtle abuse.

Now he just went full evil like during our marriage.

I guess i could keep phone calls to a minimum n record with his knowledge when i DO call
