Inverse:

If it is not raining, then the ground is not wet.

Contrapositive (usually true for non-iff):

If the ground is not wet, then it is not raining.

Not a problem! :D

What sane vampire would work in a pencil factory (wooden stakes!) and complain to the Watch?

If I consult people on WP about issues in normal life, does that mean I should consult people in normal life about issues on WP?

Well spotted!

In my experience, many mathematicians do occasionally refer to "n^4" as "n tesseracted", in a jokey sort of way. I've certainly done it before.

Other mathematicians go in the opposite direction - if they can't give a special name to every member of an infinite list, they don't bother to give a special name to any of them. For example, these mathematicians might just say "n to the 2" instead of "n squared", and in extreme cases they have been known to refer to a square as a "2-cube". I'm pretty sure I once heard someone refer to a line segment as a "1-cube", but madness lies in that direction.

Ah, interesting. So then n^1 must be n-line segmented!

I'd rather say "n-tesseracted" because frankly, it's a lot more fun than if I just said "n to the fourth power".

Referring to a line segment as a "1-cube" does sound rather odd, however.

Why does organic chemistry have to be so interesting and perfect?

I kind of wish I felt that way about organic chemistry. I went to an MIT lecture about it back in April, and it almost hurt to think about. 8O

What you should probably do is try to find a good physical modeling kit, preferably with easy double-to-single bond conversion.

I wish my room was organized by more dimensions other than that of time. There are sp3 pieces scattered EVERYWHEN.

Given a party with all of one's past selves taken once every week, would the average party be a literal or figurative riot?
