The only thing I'm worried about is that if it snows and we are at our separate houses, we won't be able to see eachother at the times we do.

I probably don't have to worry though as I doubt we'll get snow down here anytime soon.

Ahh, a guy can dream. :P

Lucky you, traveling by train. I love trains. They are the one loud thing in this world that never seems to bother me. :) 8)

I like taking the train there. And the high speed service. It gives me more of a sense of adventure, and also time to relax. I can just sit back and read and listen to my Ipod. I can imagine if I tried to drive there. It would be so stressful. Probably just as cheap by train too.

Do you use trains often?

Not as much as I'd like to, but I know what you mean. I'm always looking out the windows.

I like looking out the windows too, although there isn't much point at the moment as it's so dark when I travel. Also trains are the one mode of transport in which I can read and rarely get travel sickness. That's a bonus. 8)

I used to use trains 3 days a week, twice a day for an hour and a half at a time for commuting to work, and every fortnight it'd be 5 days because I'd go to MONKEY's house (takes about 3 and a half hours usually by the way). So I used to use them loads. Now it's just 2 trips every two weeks.

In the dark? Darn, that's no good. No view outside.

It would seem that trains are something special for us both. 8)

I suppose they are. I don't appreciate them as much as I should. Without them I'd be stuck.

When it's dark though I can always keep myself occupied with music and a good book, maybe a drink and snack too.

Yes, indeed.

Sometimes I forget that the UK is a few hours ahead of the US. It is already dark over there, isn't it?

In the far east with Australia and New Zealand, it is already the next morning.

It gets dark at about 4.15pm here at the moment. Starts at about 3.45pm - ish. Doesn't get light until about 7.15am.

What time does it get dark at the moment where you are then?

Big D: Errol is challenging everyone in a staring competition.
Errol: The first one to blink loses!
Big D: Anyone who's into the challenge may sign up here!
Errol: For sure, the autistic dude already lost. Anyone who taks my challenge? :P

No, thank you, Errol.

Besides, I am a ghost, so I would have an unfair advantage.

Not too much difference then. I bet it's colder where you are though.

Right now it is above freezing, but it can get down to below zero here.

What about you?

I haven't got a thermometer handy, but it's still above zero degrees. Quite a drop in temperature recently though. Cold bed at night = winter for me.

I added a second comforter to my bed for just that reason.

Brr is right.

I don't believe it will be getting that cold around here for a while.
