Yes, indeed.

Sometimes I forget that the UK is a few hours ahead of the US. It is already dark over there, isn't it?

In the far east with Australia and New Zealand, it is already the next morning.

It gets dark at about 4.15pm here at the moment. Starts at about 3.45pm - ish. Doesn't get light until about 7.15am.

What time does it get dark at the moment where you are then?

About 4:30 P.M. Give or take.

Not too much difference then. I bet it's colder where you are though.

Right now it is above freezing, but it can get down to below zero here.

What about you?

I haven't got a thermometer handy, but it's still above zero degrees. Quite a drop in temperature recently though. Cold bed at night = winter for me.

I added a second comforter to my bed for just that reason.

I quite like the feeling of a cold bed, then when it warms. I find it all cosy.

You know, you're right. Also, when it is hot and I stand in front of the air conditioner, I feel refreshed.

Brr!

Which night? And will it be that cold down south too?

I'm oddly looking forward to it.

Big D: Well, I can't say if I'm lucky or what, but I feel Christmas and New Year would be warm. 30C/86F is a rough estimate as average, and it's 26C/79F as we speak.

I much prefer to be too cold than too hot. And it's always easier to get warm and maintain it than it is to cool down and maintain it.
