I must admit I do feel like that sometimes, but without all the Christmas lights littering the streets my winter depression would probably be a lot worse!

Christmas lights do nothing for me. It's nice that you can appreciate them though I suppose. Merry Christmas then, old bean.

Understanding Autism For Dummies
Doesn't the title seem a little sad and conflicting at the same time (especially the, "Understanding," part)?

Some people need things explaining in simple terms. The whole "for dummies" just means it's aimed at people who can't comprehend convoluted texts, or don't want to. Doesn't mean that the people who read those things are particularly stupid. I doubt most people would pick up a psychology text book if they were to find out someone they knew had a neurological condition, though perhaps they could if they had the will or the need.

I just meant the emotional response the title generated to me. Most people could care less if biochemistry was insulted (mainly because of a lack of knowledge of what biochemistry itself is), but I would probably experience some defensive anger if someone treated it dismissively. Note that this is still an emotional response, and I do generally avoid considering the unnecessary emotions when going further than simply making an observation.

It's nice to have a salt bath and drink water at the same time. :)

To the people on Spasticity 2.0 who also frequent this site - if you are out there and know full well you are going behind peoples' backs by asking for cyber-sexual favours from people who you know are in a commited relationship, then feel free to PM me just so I can more personally tell you how much of a pathetic lowlife bellend you are.

If there is no-one else from Spasticity 2.0 on this site, and I am talking to the wrong people, then ignore this comment and carry on with the festivities.

That's got to be the worst name for a forum ever. Being on it implies you're a spastic. Other people who see you on it will think 'spastic' then look at you and think 'spastic'? Obviously if you are a spastic that's not good news.

It's basically one of those forums that tries too hard to be all edgy and controversial.

They say we whom have an ASD have problems with reading between the lines.

That's wrong.

We have problems reading between the lies.

Just checking in - I feel absolutely terrible today so I think it would be wise to not stay on here a long time.

This thread makes me realise how little I speak just for the sake of conversing.
