Dear Ten, I am sorry that you're ill. If I had chicken noodle soup or tomato soup I would bring you some. If I lived in England . If I knew where you lived. If I could figure out your bus routes.

In the meantime, please feel better....cones all across Easter Island are holding hands and doing a huge ritual firewalk to please the spirits so that they will bring you good health....Sylkat

Hah! Well it's true I guess
I saw just this summer how much the cones adored me

I'll let you know if I get better now that you said that ;)

Same. How long have you been feeling unwell for Ten?

And I just went for a bit of a stroll to the Supermarket to get the last of my Christmas pressies. (Still haven't got any cards though!) I'm leaving it too late but I'm too busy and can't find the time to do anything, not even an excuse this time. :P

There were some pretty decorated houses, but there always seems to be less and less of them as the years go on. :(

^Yeah I was thinking there seems to be less about. Someone near here used to decorate their house with loads of lights which was rather over the top but they collected money for charity so that was good, but even they have stopped doing it now.

I used to visit Santa (the real one, of course....) at his grotto in a little village a few miles from where I live. He decorated his house with thousands and thousands of pounds worth of lights and decorations (mostly donated) and he always gave away nice little goody bags and he also dressed his dog up as a reindeer (even though, of course, there was no need to dress it up as it was actually just a reindeer dressed as a dog, dressed as a reindeer.... yeah.... :P ).

It was so well done and it went all through his gardens and into parts of his house that the public were allowed access to but it was never busy there. Usually when I went it was just me and my mum. :D

I loved going there, I went until I was 13, but I don't think he does it anymore either. Gives me such a warm feeling just thinking about it....

.... Also I'm dedicating this track to my good Parasaurolophus friend Peacock.

I would have posted this on Dedicate a song to a WP member, but Peacock isn't a member. He doesn't have much of an interest in ASDs and doesn't have any himself.

Another great track there. Been a while since I listened to Boards of Canada. They are gooood.

I like their weird titles too. As far as I know, not many of the things I do are balloons or are even balloon related.

Do you do much balloon related activities, or balloons themselves if you're lucky?

8O
Alas no, I am balloon free these days.
Last time I saw any was as they drifted overhead all bright colours on a blue sky, as part of a hot air balloon festival.
I was laying on me back in a field watching them float by.
Strangely, music from Boards of Canada describes it rather well.
